FutureProof was founded by Cynthia Mealy to assist purpose-driven companies who want to participate in the urgent change needed in these times. In particular, those focusing on certified becoming B Corps. 

Our Purpose:

FutureProof exists to do 2 things:

1) Serve purpose-driven organizations that seek to improve their positive impact or become certified B Corp.  

2) FutureProof is “designed to give” We give >5% of our revenues to local charities.

We support poor and low-income residents in the Bitterroot Valley through the Bitterroot Valley Food Bank.

We support populations in the Bitterroot Valley most vulnerable to extreme weather events caused by climate change. Donations are made to the Hepa filter project of the Bitterroot Climate Action Group.

Purpose and meaning are at the heart of what we do; we are a business dedicated to a triple bottom line: people, planet and profit.

Cynthia has been a passionate environmentalist most of her life and mixes this with over twenty years of business ownership, experience in program management and executive administration.

Cynthia takes a human-centred approach to all of her work and is a skilled group facilitator, able to bring a variety of methods and tools to any team she works with. She is a trained B Corp consultant, choosing to work with B Lab’s B Impact Assessment tool (BIA), the ISO 14001 international standards, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework.

Cynthia is also dedicated to lowering her own personal impact on the planet. She uses permaculture design principles to tend her land and live a sustainable life. When she’s not working, she can be found with her spouse and dog, hiking, mountain biking or backcountry skiing near her home tucked into the Bitterroot Mountains of Montana.
